Big River Silk Skincare's AmberSoy&GlycoShea: a Clear Complexion

Acne can have really negative effects upon a person’s mood and self-confidence. Fortunately, Dermatologists now have a growing number of promising, new options for acne and complexion issues, for people with dry skin, combination skin, or oily skin (see my blog post at www.Rheumderm.com). Let me share with you several promising cleanser and moisturizer options, ideas which I’ve incorporated into a company of which I am President: Big River Silk Skincare Inc.

Traditional therapies for acne include antibiotics like doxycycline and minocycline, with prescription topicals: Tretinoin Cream, differin gel (Adapalene), benzoyl peroxide, azelaic acid, or topical dapsone. Sometimes Accutane pills (isotretinoin) helps – particularly for nodulocystic acne, requiring strict avoidance of pregnancy while on treatment, and monthly bloodwork. Or another option is hormonal therapies, or spironolactone pills.

GlycoShea Facial&Neck Cream is a helpful fragrance-free exfoliating moisturizer that acts as a face scrub, due to its Glycolic Acid, an AHA or Alpha-hydroxy Acid originally discovered in pineapple.
