A Radiant You for Summer 2024 with Big River Silk Skincare's GlycoShea and AmberSoy Soap Gel

The outdoor activities of Summer are opening up, and maybe you need a complexion make-over. So what’s a Dermatologist’s ‘take’ on what’s available for acne in 2024?
Acne options range from topical therapies (meaning “on top of the skin”) to prescription antibiotics to an oral medicine called isotretinoin (Accutane).
Topical options include salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, retinoids (like Tretinoin Cream and Gel or Retin A Cream), topical dapsone, and topical azelaic acid. Depending upon what type of skin you or your family member has, your Dermatologist can sort through which of these would work best for you. GlycoShea Facial&Neck Lotion is a hypoallergenic exfoliating moisturizer that contains Shea Butter mixed or emulsified with some of the purest natural water in the Unites States, Memphis Aquifer water, and Glycolic Acid, an Alpha-hydroxy Acid originally discovered in sugarcane and pineapple. GlycoShea Lotion acts as an anti-wrinkle cream by smoothing out the outer layers of the skin, leaving your skin with a radiant, smooth texture (1 oz: $45.95; 2 oz: $68.95; 8 oz: $229.95), and being fragrance-free and odor-free, it can be used once or twice a day, and it can be applied under makeup.
Be aware that acne that smolders can leave Acne scars, some of which may become permanent. By all means, get a prompt evaluation by a Dermatologist if you’ve had breakouts are not clearing up.
