A New You for Summer 2022 with Big River Silk Skincare

Exfoliation is the natural process whereby our skin renews itself, reducing skin aging and wrinkling. Here are a couple of my ideas from 30 years of practicing Dermatology, in Cordova TN, on keeping your skin more wrinkle-free, with better tone and texture:
The first and most important measure is to limit exposure to ultraviolet light (UV light) from the sun and from tanning salons: stay out of the sun, and use a “broad spectrum sunscreen” with an SPF of at least 30. Ongoing Dermatology research has also shown that AHAs or “Alpha-hydroxy Acids” in skincare products promote exfoliation, in effective anti-wrinkle creams.
The AHA that penetrates into the skin the most easily is Glycolic Acid, an organic chemical originally discovered in sugarcane and pineapple, being the smallest molecule among the AHAs.
